4-11-16 Lightening Struck

Sneaking out of work Monday afternoon, paid off well. 

Mine and BP's first solo ride together since she came back from Sandi's..     She exhibited a little old behavior, but it was short lived, we had a real adult conversation about poor behavior, and by the end, she came around to my way of thinking... which of course was the right way of thinking.

The lightening tree, very interesting display of God's glory, might, and power. 

The sunset was a most wonderful treat considering the ride was blanketed by clouds. 

Given the extra energy that BP had to behave naughty, I figured she could hammer out a few more miles, 10 to be exact,, it did her well and I am sure built some much needed positive work ethic.  

4-10-16 Kennedy Creek

Kennedy Creek trails are very interesting, though we only rode

6.2 miles.  We did steep climbs and what goes up must come down. 

We just climbed up to the top to see if we were going the right way,,,,  and we weren't..  so we went back down.. 

The Olympics are always a treat,, whether we are backpacking through them or viewing them from the backs of our ponies..

Anyone who says,, "you can't work 2 ponies at the same time",,

just doesn't know what they are talking about,, 

Sure you can,, and listen to tunes and take a picture.. 

you just have to hold your face right.

That's what my granddad used to say to me about catchin' fish,,

"you gotta hold your face right"

4-7-16 Hot Spring Ride

Having so much fun riding with my sister, like when we were kids, except way less crazy ;)

This little water crossing is so cool, in more ways than one.  The footing is awesome, the water is fresh, clean and cool. Really a special little treat.  Mel's first shot through here and she was groovin' :)

4/2/16 Ivy & Sandi Start to Finish Ride

Today, was a maiden start to finish ride for Ivy and Sandi,, 

and they did splendidly !!  

Ivy walks out good front or rear, she is brave and does great when we come to other riders, hikers or really what ever. 

4/1/16 Adventure Time

I never get tired of looking at these mountains.... standing at the south Olympic Mountains,, and they are wonderful.

Shadows are so amazing,, they tell a story a picture in motion

3/31/16 Hello Graduate !!

Introducing Ivy Zepp

She has been in school for about 7 weeks and she is now venturing out on to the trails.

she is doing so well, very brave and honest

Graduation !!  

she is now ready to go to her home and adventure with her mom !!
